Introduction

Shree PM Patel Institute of PG Studies and Research in Science established IQAC in the year 2015

 

Vision

To set high standards in academics and adhere to best practices of Quality Enhancement as per the mandate of various accreditation agencies. 

Mission

  • To establish learning environment to increase the quest for knowledge and to promote creative thinking amongst both students as well as faculties.
  • To give complete autonomy to individual departments for organizing seminars, workshops and conferences. 
  • To set aside a separate budget specifically for Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) essentially for inviting distinguished faculties for invited talks and dissemination of latest scientific information.
  • To provide students with certain skills to enable them to opt for careers
  • To assess students by virtue of continuous grading and assessment.  
  • To make students research oriented and to motivate them towards scientific writing. 
  • To identify, encourage, cultivate talent and extra-curricular activities

 

Objectives

OBJECTIVES OF IQAC (Vision, Mission and Objectives)

  • To be the central point of coordination for all activities related to Quality Enhancement especially with regard to adaption and execution of Sardar Patel University syllabus.
  • To keep check on various teaching, learning and evaluation system across all courses.
  • To take suggestions from all stake holders of academia and education fraternity and built a liaison with them.

Functions

  • To apprise teachers about various quality enhancement parameters of education. 
  • To conduct student centric as well as faculty centric orientation programmes leading to furthering of knowledge and constant exchange of ideas.
  • To adapt blended learning in view of changing times in the scenario of ICT enabled learning.
  • To gather feedback from students, faculties, parents and to discuss and look into the feasibility of all suggestions.
  • To facilitate constant exchange of scientific ideas by conducting workshops and invited talks at regular intervals.
  • To take care of all documentation process as per the needs of various accreditation bodies.
